Whether new green buds are sprouting from the trees, or piles of red and gold leaves cover the ground, Elkton’s parks are a beautiful place to spend time outside with members of the community. With shelters available daily rental rates, your party or family reunion is sure to be a blast!
Riverside Park
M Street, Elkton, VA 22827
Riverside Park has a covered shelter and is beside the Shenandoah river. This shelter has 10 picnic tables and electricity. Restrooms are on site.
Canoeing, tubing and fishing are activities that could be enjoyed while visiting the park.
Stonewall Memorial Park
197 N. Terrace Avenue, Elkton, VA 22827
Stonewall Memorial Park has 2 covered shelters called Monger Shelter and Epic Shelter. Monger shelter has 20 picnic tables and Epic shelter has 9 picnic tables. Shelters have electricity and restrooms are on site.
Both shelters have access to the playground, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball courts, baseball/softball fields and horseshoe pits. Great place for large family picnics, church outings and reunions
Shelter Rentals
Shelters can be rented for picnics, parties and other social activities. The Monger Shelter and Epic Shelter can be found at Stonewall Memorial Park, located at 197 N. Terrace Avenue. Riverside Park is home to the Riverside Shelter. Park bathrooms are closed November through March. All fees and a photo ID are required to book. A 14 day notice of cancellation is required for a refund.

Located behind the Elkton Area Community Center, the Elk Run Trails offer a plethora of options for activities. Whether you are looking for a walking trail, hiking, mountain biking, or just wanting to view natures beauty along Elk Run Creek - Elk Run Trails are the place to be!
